Members of the Raja Annamalai Puram Residents’ Association (RAPRA) celebrated Pongal festival on January 13 in their backyard.
Rani Meyammai School students Leena, Keerthika and Rengashree sang folk songs. Billroth Hospital staff Vidya and Sheela demonstrated the making of snacks without fire and shared the recipes.
Dr. Ghulam Hassan of Billroth Hospital graced the occasion. Dr R. Chandrasekaran, president of RAPRA distributed sweet pongal to guests.
