Mylapore MLA Dha Velu led a group of people for a snappy event held in Mylapore to mark Thiruvalluvar Day.
The group garlanded Valluvar’s statue located off Royapettah High Road and near Sanskrit College,
This statue was installed here some 50 years ago.
Recently, the MLA had directed renovation work at the island where the statue is, and installed a clock which, at every hour, broadcasts a Kural.
