Kauvery Hospital let the margazhi music float around its blocks in Alwarpet with some concerts recently and then hosted a Pongal event on the weekend.
The show took place beyond the rear gates of the hospital. There were a few fun games to warm up the guests – events like musical chairs. The hospital’s doctors, nurses and staff also took part in the events.
The Pongal show was hosted by radio jockey J. Bharath and he had to motivate people to loosen up and enioy themselves.
There was a kolam competition, Mayilattam dance and stalls where people sold small stuff and one where snacks were served.
