Savor is new on Alwarpet’s TTK Road. A high-end desserts café which offers hand-crafted pastries to decadent cakes.
It specialises in Bombolinis, entremets, tarts and its signature pull-up cakes.
Says cafe owner Madhumitha Sriram, who has a B.Com (marketing) degree from MOP Vaishnav College, ”On our menu are French pastries, cheesecakes, handcrafted ice creams, milkshakes, and savory short eats.”
The young woman tells us that each offering is crafted to perfection, using only the finest natural ingredients. “All our desserts are 100% free from preservatives and artificial flavorings,” she promises us.
Madhumitha, who was an athlete, had set some goals; and one is “to redefine the city’s desserts scene, creating a brand synonymous with quality, creativity, and a love for all things sweet.”
The store is open from 3.30 pm to 2 am to cater to the needs of the young who wish to hang out at night.
“I have been a home baker for four years and opening a top-end café was my dream,” says Madhumitha.
