Mylapore Post Office on Kutchery Road had become a home for stray dogs but some members of the public are unhappy with them inside the premises.
The dogs, some 10 of them, roam inside the office complex, sleep near the entrance gates and even tail you to the counters.
But their presence inside the office is scaring some people. Seniors who are generally here to deal with deposits or book parcels, say they are not happy to see street dogs inside the premises standing close to them.
Post Office staff have been seen feeding the strays.
