Letting large volumes of flood rainwater from a private campus on to the public space without proper arrangement to dispose it is certainly not a proper act.
Year on year, severe rain floods the campus of the TN Police CID Quarters on Venkatkrishna Road. But what is naked to the public eye that looks this way, is that the community here employs a motor pump to channel the water on to the busy road.
This water stagnates on the road.
It is not known if the engineers of the local unit of GCC and this community have discussed the issue and arranged water to be channeled into a local SWD as is done in other places.
