Senior dancer invites music students to share best song; she will dance to the best three. A Children’s Day project

Senior Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher Narthaki Nataraj has a novel invite to all teens who are learning classical music. Send her a song you know best or are learning now and she will choose the three best ones and dance to that song and share a video.

The dancer who is based in Mylapore says this is a Children’s Day idea and since she came up the hard way and since children need much support in the creative arts, this is her way of encouraging them.

Her Velliambalam Trust and Pachyderm Tales is collaborating on this Children’s Day venture.

Here are some simple guidelines –

  • Any children under 18 can participate.
  • The song has to be classical in nature
  • The audio version should be sent through mail ID with the details including name of the singer, class and school. E-mail –  pachydermtales@gmail.com
  • Last date of submission – Nov 13
