The old, avenue trees on Dr. Ranga Road, Abhiramapuram are posing a problem to motorists.
Residents here say that these old trees, though pruned some years ago, are jutting out or slanting on to the road and obstruct traffic.
Dr S Devaji Rao who shared these photos said that many cars, including his, were dented when they had negotiate the areas where the trees jut out. “The tree trunks are huge and jut out,: he said.
People want local GCC tree-pruning staff to address the issue.
It is a tricky one since these are grand old trees that p;rovide shade on this busy road. Even pruning the massive tree trunks could be a challenge.
