The 2025 edition of the Sundaram Finance MYLAPORE FESTIVAL may well present a record number of Heritage Walks.
Here are the broad themes of the Walks which are just being finalised and the people who will lead the Walks which are free to people.
- V. Sriram – focus on Sri Kapali Temple with a walk inside the temple tank
- Padmapriya Baskaran – Saints, Rishis and Others of Mada Streets
3. Cycling Tour of some Mylapore landmarks – for teens. Led by Ramanujar Moulana
4. Trees of Boat Club zone – by Gayathree Krishna
5. Three Stories of Sri Kapali Temple – Tour for Children – by Pradeep Chakravarthy
6. Food Walk – of Mylapore’s Iconic and New Food Places – by Sridhar Venkatraman
The Walks will be held on the weekend of January 11 and 12, mornings.
