Kumbhabishekam of Sri Adi Keaava Perumal Temple; yagnas begin

Day one of the yagna leading to the kumbhabishekam of Sri Adi Keaava Perumal Temple in Mylapore started on Saturday evening on a rousing note.

Over a dozen priests, assistants in tow, went through the lengthy rituals that ended  past 11 p.m. inside the temple premises.

There were at least 30 other priests participating in various ways.

The yagna will go on for three days.

The kumbhabishekam is on Nov.20
