The GCC owned community hall In Luz Avenue near Nageswara Rao Park is being demolished .
The process started sometime ago and the block will be flattened in a week’s time.
The city’s civic body has some plans to re-develop this plot but details are not public yet.
The hall served the local community who looked for budget priced halls for the family functions. But it was not a popular place.
The facility falls under GCC Division 123
