The Deepavali Decor Contest for Mylaporeans by Mylapore Times got a lukewarm response. And the judge who scanned the limited entries felt they really did not deserve to be awarded.
But for the effort, these people were given a Mylapore souvenir.
The next contest for Mylaporeans will be associated with Karthigai Deepam; asking families to set 4/5 lit oil lamps with flowers and leaves around them to make the arrangement appealing.
