GCC staff have been supervising removal of the solid waste and all other waste on main roads.
This morning, work was on on St Marys Road.
In a way, this action will prevent muck from blocking drains and causing flooding besides neatening the area.
Parked cars and junk do not allow the civic workers space to clear all the waste here.
But residents are more concerned here with the cars and taxis parked for days on the road sides. They are not fined nor carried away and contribute to the mess locally.
