Our Lady of Guidance parish in R.A Puram will host the 28th edition of CHRISCAR, an annual Christmas Carols competition which is said to be one of the best of its kind in the city.

It will be held on December 1 evening at the church campus on Lazarus Church Road.  Choirs from all city parishes are invited for the event. They must present Tamil Christmas carols.

Only one team is permitted per parish and each team can have upto 20 members including musicians. The registration fee is Rs 1000. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of the first, second and third place.
The carol competition will begin at 6 pm. Dinner will be provided to the registered team from each parish.
The event is organised by Guidance Friends led by its president Kevin VJ under the guidance of parish priest Fr. T. Anthony Raj and the youth director Fr. Ronald Richard.
The event is open to all.
