Priests from a temple, a church, a masjid, from a Jain temple, and of Buddhist and Sikh religions took turns to pray at a community meet held at Srinivasa Gandhi Nilayam in Alwarpet on Oct.2 to mark Gandhi jayanthi.
The event began. with bhajans by a group and then followed the all-religions prayer session as the priests took turns to recite them for the small gathering here.
This event was hosted by Gandhi Peace Foundation. which is based at Ambujammal Street, Alwarpet.
