Rasika Ranjani Sabha, one of the oldest sabhas in the city, which celebrated its 95th year of its founding, honoured senior artistes and upcoming artists on this occasion.
The event was presided over by S. Gurumurthy, editor, Tuglak magazine.
The sabha president, Ar Santhanakrishnan welcomed the gathering.
The awardees were: Kathadi Ramamurthy, Vijay Shiva, Dr Lakshmi Ramaswamy, Dr Kalakkad K R Seethalakshmi, K Murugan, Ramakrishnan and K R Manasvini
Also present at the event were Gurumurthy and Nagarajan of R R Sabha.
