Shanta Balakumaran, wife of renowned writer, late Balakumaran, passed away on Oct.24. She had been ailing for sometime and was in hospital for a while
She hails from Trichy and was born in 1952 . She married Balakumaran in 1981.
She is survived by son Surya Balakumaran who is into films.
