Mylapore Fund: about 40 people allowed access to lockers. Police streamline this process

About 40 clients of Mylapore Hindu Permanent Fund have been able to access their lockers after police arranged for it on Saturday.

The Fund office has been sealed since its directors were arrested in a case slapped on them for not returning the monies of its depositors.

The process was organised and processed by staff of the TN Police Economic Offences Wing ( EOW) who were present.

Many Fund clients had been requesting this since they wanted their things in the lockers urgently to meet various personal needs.

It is not clear when other locker clients will be allowed access.  Police at the Fund office refused to say anything.
