Civic workers are back again along key storm water drains to clear the muck and silt inside them ahead of the monsoon.
Workers were seen working alongside Andhra Mahila Sabha hospital campus in R A Puram, Pon Muthuramalingam Road in R A Puram and elsewhere.
The silt is being packed in bags and then cleared.
This work will facilitate smooth running of rainwater and save flooding locally.
