The community at CSI Saint Luke’s church in Mandaveli celebrated the feast of their patron saint St. Luke on October 18.
The Bishop of Vellore diocese Rt. Rev. Sharma Nithiyanandam was the chief guest for the event .
30 members of the parish received confirmation from the bishop He also inaugurated the first floor of the parish hall.
A number of competitions were held for the children and the other members of the church on each Sunday in October.
On October 20, after the service at 8.30 am, fancy dress and skit competitions were conducted. Prizes will be awarded to all the winners on the first Sunday in November.
The event wound up with a fellowship lunch served to all the members at 12 noon.
