65 entries have been received this far for the annual Mylapore Times Navaratri Kolu Contest.
There are two contests – for the main kolu and for themed arrangements beside the main kolu, the theme kolu.
While many people who have limited space have creatively used that space to mount neat and attractive kolus as per tradition, there are others who have taken time to use space to create themed kolus.
Themed kolus span themes like the Paris Olympics and Tirupathi, to Adi Sankara and cricket and Sri Kapali Temple.
The contest closes on Oct.8 evening and results should be out this Saturday.
