Gandhigram Trust is organising an exhibition of their Khadi readymade clothing range – Samhita – on September 6 and 7 at C P Arts Centre, Eldams Road – 10 am to 8 pm on both the days.
The apparel line, launched in 2023, has 100% hand-spun and hand-woven products which include tops, kurtas, dresses and jumpsuits for women, and shirts for men. These are sourced from skilled artisan and craftsmen and designed by leading designers.
Apart from Samhita products, there will also be Muslin sarees, Kalamkari fabrics, Indigo and naturally-dyed fabrics, hand-block printed towels and fabrics. This year, handmade block printed saris are an impressive addition.
Plus, other products like honey, flavoured honey, juices, edible oils, health mix, spice powders and pickles, will be on sale.
