On Monday, Vijay of Ramarao Road of Mylapore took his car out from his home and when he turned from his street, the car tyre got damaged severely – the reason – poor and shoddy work of the contractor of GCC who is now handling the storm water drain work in Justice Sundaram Road.
The unfinished work had left protrusions all over and the rear tyre of Vijay’s car
got damaged, he said. He now has to invest in a new tyre.
As the drain work continues, residents of the area are resigning to the woes of what is the rough of civic work.
