Sai Supermarket on South Mada Street , Mylapore offers an exclusive combo pack for Vinayaka Chaturthi.
The pack, priced at Rs 299, will have turmeric powder, kungumam powder, vibuthi, agarbathi, sambrani, lamp oil, cotton wicks, swastik sticker, camphor, vellam 1 kg, paneer bottle, rice flour 500 grams, white channa 250 grams, black til, elaichi powder, roasted vermicelli, cashews, dry grapes, ghee, mini vinayagar idol, vinayagar vastram, vinayagar agaval and match box.
“We got the idea of curating a combo pack when we saw most people making a list of items for pooja and neivedhyam for Vinayaka Chaturthi, but still missed out on certain items creating tension which is unwanted on the auspicious day of Vinayaka Chaturthi. So, we listed all items that are required for Pooja except fruits and flowers. It came down to 23 items. We were conscious that the price of this pack should be affordable and be a value for money. The pack is available at our store,” says Lavanya Sundar, the shop owner.
Home delivery is available within Mylapore zone and there are no delivery charges.
The Vinayakar idol given in the pack is a miniature one and is not made of mud.
