This Thursday morning, students of Children’s Garden School, Mylapore offered flowers at the bust of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, late president of India, scholar, philosopher and educator, on the occasion of Teachers Day.
His birthday is celebrated as Teachers Day and his residence is near the school and located on the road named after him.
