P. S. Senior Secondary School’s under-19 girls football team won in the CBSE south zone-1 girls football tournament.
This meet was held in Hosur, Tamil Nadu from Sept.18 to 21.
16 teams from various schools participated in the tournament. The P. S. Senior team emerged winners in the tournament, beating opponents in every round.
M. Manasa of Class XII was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
The P. S. Senior team has now qualified for the nationals which will be held in early October at a Gummidipoondi ground, said a note from the school.
