It was the Kutti Krishna part of the twin-contest of Mylapore Times that got a big response.
There were over 70 entries. A few came from across the city.
The festival decoration part of the contest got a limited response – just 20 people sent in entries.
So the judge needed time to take three looks at all the short-listed entries of the Kutti Krishna
before choosing five for the gifts.
The entries showed that much effort and enthusiasm had gone into the making of the kutti
Krishnas; some were imaginative and some stuck to the tradition.
Here are the winners of the Kutti Krishna
contest –

These are the four winners of the festival decoration contest –

Prizes have been handed over to the winners.
