A major theft had been reported in Mylapore.
it is reported that the theft had been noticed by the owner of the house on Apparsamy Koil Street near Thanni Thurai Market.
The resident has lodged a complaint at the Mylapore Police Station that about 140 sovereigns of gold jewellery is missing.
