Chidambaram Academy of Performing Arts (CAPA) based in Alwarpet is celebrating its 50 years – dancer and teacher Chitra Visweswaran founded this institution.
To mark this milestone, CAPA is hosting a music and dance festival at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on Sept. 28 and 29.

6 p. m. / Chudala – String Puppets of Karnataka – by Anupama Hoskere
7.15 p.m./ Tarunam – concert by Sikkhil Gurucharan and Anil Srinivasan
