Members of Mahratta Education Fund which has its base in Alwarpet hosted its Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on September 8 at its premises off TTK Road.
This was also an occasion to showcase the talents of youngsters.
K. Rishi , a 12 year old who learns Harikatha from two well-known gurus, Vishaka Hari and Dushyanth Sridhar, performed ‘Ganesha Prabhavam’.
The event also saw members of the community lend a helping hand to under-privileged parents to educate their children.
