The community at Ragamalika Apartments in Mandaveli celebrated the festival of Krishna jayanthi as a community event apart from families doing so in their apartments.
Kalyani Muralidharan, a resident who organises events here said that children had dressed up like lord Krishna and assembled at the community hall; they sang songs and some played on a flute.
A quiz for children was also conducted.
