An update on news related to The Mylapore Hindu Permanent Fund issue.
The EOW wing of TN Police has got seven-day custody of the Fund’s MD, Devanathan Yadav.
A city court has given this order. This will enable the police to grill Yadav and deepen its investigations.
The charge against Yadav is that he has cheated hundreds of depositors of money totalling about Rs.50 crores – based on complaints filed.
Three others are accused in his case.
