Founder’s Day is celebrated every year on August 2 in memory of M. Ct. M Chidambaram Chettyar in whose name a school stands on Luz Church Road.
At the 2024 edition of this Day, the correspondent and honorary secretary, M.Ct. P. Chidambaram was welcomed by the principal of the CBSE school, Jayashree Kiran to the campus event.
The vice principal, Dr. Santhanam presented the student awardees. Students who were toppers in the Board exams last year were awarded with trophies and certificates by Chidambaram and Chandrika Chidambaram.
The management honoured some teachers with service awards and meritorious awards.
The finale was a cultural programme by the students.
