Group at church in R. A. Puram raise funds to support poor students in local school

As part of their community charity work, St. Vincent de Paul Society unit of Our Lady of Guidance Church in R A Puram, has financially supported a group of students of Fatima Nursery and Primary School managed by the church.

The members handed over cheques amounting to Rs 51,000 to 17 students from poor families. This amount will cover their school fee expenses.

Members Vincent, Previn, Chandra Bose, Arpudanadan and John met the beneficiaries and handed over the cheques in the presence of parish priest Fr. T. Anthony Raj and the school headmistress Julie on Friday August 2.
This charity work has been carried out for the past two years to encourage students from poor families to study and come up in life.
