The Japanese Language School of Indo-Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been teaching Japanese language and culture since 1989.
Its premises is at 21, K B Dasan Road, Teynampet, Chennai-18.
Students are taught spoken and written Japanese language and are prepared for taking up the globally recognised Japan Foundation’s Japanese Language Proficiency Tests – from Basic N5 level to Advanced N1 level.
Need-based courses are conducted for service and manufacturing organisations. With the increasing number of Japanese companies in Tamilnadu, many students are showing keen interest in learning the language in recent times.
Classes on various Japanese arts and culture such as Japanese Anime, Bonsai, Ikebana and calligraphy are being conducted.
On September 1, (Sunday) the Japanese art of folding paper – ‘Origami Workshop’ – will be conducted from 10.00 am to 11.30 am. at the Chamber
There is no admission fee but students are expected to have their names registered for the event.
