The community at the Shrine of Our Lady of Light church in Luz will be celebrating their parish feast from August 6 to 15.
This is the 508th edition of the feast and it will commence with hoisting of the flag on August 6 at 5.30 pm. The main celebrant is Fr G. J. Antony Swamy, vicar general, archdiocese of Madras-Mylapore.
Special Masses will be held on all days at 6 pm.
There will be a First Holy Communion service on Sunday August 11 at 7.30 am. In the evening, there will be a eucharistic procession.
Rector and parish priest Fr. Bernard Lawrence has curated the feast events along seniors of the parish.
Fr. Justin Diraviam, assistant parish priest said the feast will culminate with a grand car procession on August 15 at 5.30 pm.
