This Bala Vihar will teach shlokas, Samskrtam, bhajans and sampradayams to Brahmin children. A project curated by Sri Kanchi Mutt

Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham has set up units of “Kamakoti Bāla Vihār” across the city and one such is in Mylapore.
At the Bala Vihar, weekly classes are being conducted for Brahmin girls and boys between the ages 5 – 15 years. They will be taught shlokas, Samskrtam, bhajans, sampradayams and more.
Says Suchitra, who is co-ordinating the Bala Vihar’s events in Mylapore, “These sessions will help young minds connect with their roots, appreciate the rich heritage and blend it into the present day.”
The content for these classes has been overseen and approved by the heads of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham.
