Metrowater’s contract staff are sweating it out to attend to a break in the sewage line which was damaged on R K Mutt Road last week.
It has become clear now that this was a big issue; it has taken them over 5 days now to work on it.
The workers here say they have made alternative arrangements for the sewage flow.
This pipe replacement work and joints work will take a few more days to get completed.
Since the area is barricaded motorists are requested to avoid this stretch for a few more days. The civil contractor has even fixed floodlights and brought in large machinery to work intensely and round the clock since this is a key and busy road.
