Donations by Mylaporeans and Mylapore Times have enabled Mylapore Times Charitable Trust to provide scholarships to 12 students who study in various classes at St Francis Xavier School, TTK Road, Alwarpet. These students come from economically poor families and hardly have the finances to fund their school studies.
Meanwhile, another dozen school students from Mylapore area schools who did well in Class 10 and Class 12 exams and sought funding, will be paid scholarships next week.

The past week, these were donors – Dheepa Raagavan/Mylapore – Rs.10000; R. Natarajan / Mylapore, Rs.5000: R. Kailasnath / Teynampet – Rs.10000 and R. Suseela /Mylapore – Rs.5000.
