The month of aadi has dawned today, July 17.
At Sri Mundagakanni Amman Temple, Mylapore there were only a few devotees, mostly women; some of them were seen offering milk to images of the amman located in the temple campus.
People were small in number at other Amman temples in the neighbourhood this morning.
