Padmini Pattabiraman, a resident of Mandaveli and a writer was honoured for her book “Kadal Kozhikal “. at an event held last weekend, organised by Uratha Sinthanai.
She was presented an award and a cash prize instituted by auditor N. R. Krishnamurthy. Film maker K. Bhagayaraj who was the chief guest, presented the award. Auditor J. Balasubramanian from Mandaveli was one of the guest speakers.
This book is a compendium of 23 Thamizh short stories published in various magazines over the recent past.
The function was held at Hindustan Chamber of Commerce.
