On the eve of the re-opening of schools, there was a lot of buzz in some shops across Mylapore which serve students.
Shops that sell stationery and notebooks, bags and tiffin boxes, uniforms and such things were crowded through Friday and Saturday; many stores are open on Sundays to serve clients whose children will be going back to school.
Shops like Sabari Stores and Ishwarya Stores on South Mada Street, Mylapore and Mohan Dresses on R H Road where uniforms are offered in double quick time, were packed through Saturday.
