The Abiramapuram chapter of the Vincent de Paul Society conducted a free eye-screening camp in the church premises the past week. It was held in collaboration with Indian Vision Institute
Father Stanley Sebastian who has taken charge of this parish recently inaugurated the camp with a prayer. About125 people attended the camp
K. Rakesh, president of the St Vincent de Paul Society unit here said that 30 people have been chosen for free cataract surgery and that 46 people were given spectacles free of cost.
