A MTC bus shelter had been erected on Warren Road in front of Ramaswamy Apartments.
This is a relief to MTC commuters who had to stand in the sun and the rain on a route that was created as a diverted route due to Chennai Metro work.
Earlier Chennai Metro had erected a shamiana which was not a effective facility.
South-bound MTC buses take this route, stop here and reach Mandaveli , R A Puram and beyond.
In recent weeks, after strong criticism and protests, Chennai Metro has been erecting bus shelters.

The bike riders, Auto drivers and street sellers should not stop their vehicles in front of these bus shelters and create kios.
