V C Garden Street in Mandaveli must have been relaid at least thrice in the past 18 months.
But look what happened after last night’s steady rain.
Many parts of the street were flooded and stagnant water was seen on June 13, Thursday morning here; this shows that the relaying of this busy street was uneven and it is evident that there are limited outlets for rainwater to drain away.
