Vaikasi vizha is being celebrated at Sri Veleeswarar Temple, South Mada Street Mylapore. It started on May 14 and goes on till June 3.

From May 25 onwards is vidaiaatri vizha – classical music and dance concerts will be held in the evenings; includes nagaswaram by Aridwaramangalam A. K. Palaniswami and vocal concert by Nithyasree Mahadevan
