Rasika Ranjani Sabha, Mylapore is celebrating what it calls ‘Sengol Day’ at its auditorium this May 28 evening with a string of events.
Justice R. Mahadevan of the Madras High Coiurt is the chief guest.
The event starts at 5 pm with a nagaswaram recital followed by recitation of the Thevaram.
The highlight is an illusrtaed talk on ‘ The Legend of Manu Needhi Chozhan’ from the Periya Puranam by D K Hari and D K Hema Hari.
This will be followed by a Bharatanatyam recital by dancers of Tapas.
