The community at Our Lady of Visitation Church in Abiramapuram will be celebrating the annual church feast from May 28 to 31.
This is the silver jubilee year of the new church that was built in the campus where a heritage church still stands.
The flag will be hoisted on May 28 at 5.30 pm. Fr. Peter Thumma is the main celebrant. There will be a procession taken around the neighbourhood streets of the church, rosary and Mass.
On May 29, 30 and 31, Mass will be celebrated at 6 pm.
On the feast day, May 31, after Mass, there will be a farewell celebration for parish priest Fr. T. Anthony Raj who is on transfer to Our Lady of Guidance Church in R A. Puram
Fr. Stanley Sebastian will be the new parish priest here.
