In a big relief to MTC commuters of Mylapore, a bus shelter had been installed in Venkatesa Agraharam Street last weekend .
The stop is near the Amudham fair price shop.
This bus stop is a major one since many people board buses here, on a route that was part of the diversions caused by work on Chennai Metro in Luz and around.
It needed weeks of pushing and pleading with Chennai Metro officials to get the shelter erected.
