Madras Coffee House has opened an outlet on Musiri Subramaniam Road ( once called Oliver Road) near the roundabout off Sri Anjaneyar Temple, Alwarpet.
This joint serves coffee, snacks, biscuits and cookies.
With many small snacks joints shutting down in the zone due to work on Chennai Metro, this one serves people who enjoy a hot cup of coffee on a sidewalk.
This joint is located in front of the old Waitrose departmental store. It is open at 6 a.m. and closes at 9 pm.
One such outlet of this brand located on Venkatakrishnan Road, Mandaveli recently closed down – possibly because clientele dropped due to the traffic changes and barricading for Chennai Metro work here.
